Hello beautiful souls! My name is Whitney and I am delighted that you’re here!

As a child I sensed that there was so much more than what met my 5 physical senses… so much more depth, breadth, expression, magnitude, and capacity of every human being. So often I was lost in my own world deeply connected to the unseen, but ‘tugged’ back to the here and now on the physical plane. I never had the vocabulary nor the outlets to discuss what I was percieving, nonetheless what truly fascinated me: energetics, spirituality, emotions, and my endless questions to the Universe that began with “why” or “why not”.

As I grew up, I set my daydreams on the back burner and steered course on a conventional path that I thought was the definition of success: high achieving student athlete, extra-curriculars, college, work, climb the ladder, work, work, work. My intuition and truths pleading for my attention, yet I trudged along and kept sweeping that ‘stuff’ into the corners of my being so I could get on with my life. Little did I know, I wasn’t really Living, and my body was speaking to me as injuries, illness, and exhaustion manifested.

Looking back, I can see that Healing is a path that has called me for lifetimes, and I finally chose to embrace it during the last 10 years of my life. I threw myself into my passions, which ended up consuming me in the best way possible.
​
Alternative healing modalities first found me in 2011, and Reiki first crossed my path in 2014 during a healing crisis (awakening) sparked by a debilitating back injury. I was awakened to the possibilities (the reality) of healing with alternative medicine. I dove in headfirst, having no idea how much Reiki and energy medicine would become such an integral part of my daily life and lead me to open a practice out of my home. The exploration also led me to travel extensively to many places learning about energy frequencies, the art of smudging and cleansing, grid lines, auras, Mother Earth, meditation, sound healing, Biofield Tuning, and the importance of solitude to truly get to know one’s own essence. I internally committed to being a forever student of energy work, myself, and Spirit.

13 years in corporate America and 1 sabbatical year later, I returned to exactly the place I started: Home.
Empowered Aura has been a long-time vision of mine finally brought to life. It embodies all that I have learned, practiced, deeply care about, and will continue to both explore and exemplify in the best ways possible.
​
I sincerely believe that what you radiate becomes the field in which you operate. Therefore, it is my hope that all those who step into my field can find peace, relaxation, and receive the healing they need, at the time they need it. There is a purpose and a significance to every connection -nothing is by chance.
​
I’m honored to be working in the heart of Portsmouth (the Seacoast community) and be of service to all those who walk through my door. I am a Light, an observer, a safe space, and a facilitator, helping others to release expired energies that no longer serve them, so they may stand in their authentic power, become more of who they truly are, and radiate into the world.
